Abstract The problem of insulation voltage selection in potential-difference detection method performance electrical insulating metal pair flowing seawater is discussed. In seawater, 921A-B10 was taken as the research object to design corrosion test material. natural test, galvanic and simulated material were carried out respectively. shows that larger analog resistance series is, smaller current at both ends is. Finally, range setting obtained.
